Ridley Scott gör film av ”Monopol”.

"Han har gjort filmer som ”Alien”, ”Gladiator” och
”Blade runner”. Nu tar Ridley Scotts kreativitet en
ny riktning. Regissören ska göra spelfilm av
brädspelsklassikern ”Monopol”, skriver Hollywood Reporter.

Tidningen skriver att idén är att Scott ska ge filmen en
futuristisk prägel i stil med hans egen ”Blade runner”."

"Skaparna till nya Batmanfilmen har rört upp känslor i Turkiet.
Borgmästaren i staden Batman tänker stämma filmmakarna
för att de använder namnet utan att fråga om lov.

Hüseyin Kalkan, borgmästare i den sydöstra staden Batman,
står bakom anmälan mot regissören Christopher Nolan och
producenterna av filmen.

– Det finns bara en Batman i världen. De amerikanska
producenterna använde vår stads namn utan att informera oss,
säger han i ett uttalande. Kalkan säger också att filmen har
påverkat stadens invånare på ett negativt sätt. Han anser att
filmen indirekt har bidragit till att antalet självmord bland kvinnor
i staden ökar."
